Update: The owner personally reached out and offered to make things right. They reassured me that all the lights were checked and even discarded some top coats that could have caused the issue. I decided to give it another try and got a fresh set of dip nails. Now, two weeks later, they’re still shiny and look fantastic! Everyone makes mistakes, but what truly matters is how a business handles them—and this salon absolutely delivered. Their customer service has earned my return. Second picture is of my nails today. I’ve been twice for a pedicure with gel and a manicure with dip. The service has been great both times but whatever top coat they use doesn’t last. By day two it starts to flake off from the tips and leaves a dull appearance. It’s just a lot to spend to have nails that only look nice for a day. This has happened both visits.

Donna at Shades of Nails is truly one of a kind. She somehow managed to fit me in the week of Christmas when she really didn’t have the time—and I will never forget that. From start to finish, she handled everything seamlessly: coordinating schedules, managing where clients were going, helping with supplies, and still doing my nails and my sister’s at the same time without missing a beat. On top of her amazing nail work, Donna also does waxing and lashes, making her a total one-stop shop for beauty services. Her professionalism, kindness, and work ethic are unmatched. She never made us feel rushed and still delivered beautiful results. If you’re going to give anybody your money, give it to Donna—you won’t regret it. 💅✨

i’ve been to this salon quite a few times and never had a bad experience. i went yesterday and got a full set with pink gel and the gel had a weird reaction and started becoming splotchy and changing colors, but i went back today and they promptly fixed it. the receptionist helped me pick a different brand of the same color and the same man who did my nails the day before fixed it. the staff is always polite and helpful. best nail salon ive been to and worth the 40 min drive!!

My first time to this salon and I had a wonderful experience! I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment for that day and she told me to just come on down. When I arrived I was greeted and asked to sign in, she confirmed what service I was wanting and told me to go ahead and pick out my polish colors. I was then directed to the waiting area until a chair was ready, and asked if I would like a drink from the menu.This salon did a wonderful job of making sure I always felt seen and after a time I was moved over to the chair while I waited on a nail tech. Mike did an awesome job with my acrylic set and Lilly made sure my nail art was perfect! I felt very welcomed and will definitely return!

This is the only place I go to for my nails and ESPECIALLY pedicures! I’ve had multiple different people do my nails and pedicure and I have not had a bad experience at all. Super friendly staff, amazing services, & it feels luxury being there. They do really good with french tip & designs. Located in a nice area with a beautiful interior/decor. My boyfriend gets a pedicure with me sometimes and really enjoys it as well. Always welcomed with a chocolate and drink menu-(which is also really good!). I will never go anywhere else after coming here.
